Day 18 179lbs

Good evening my lovelies I hope your day was just perfect!  The weather was beautiful today, the people I that encountered were kind, ( you know this smiling and acknowledging as many people as you can really works!) and, as expected, I did not get as much done as I wanted to but I am OK with it.  I started my day with radiation treatment and ran a few errands; dropped off fair tickets, picked-up medicine, got a cool mist humidifier from Jan and a couple of items from the store.  Home for a ramen lunch washed down with eggnog and a 4 hour nap.  What more could a boy ask for?  I’ll tell ya…when I got up I cleaned my girlfriend Sydney’s cage and picked up the house for Dixie’s arrival tomorrow.

Guys it happened today the taste buds are gone, the throat is really sore and eating has just become a function.  I’m not bitching, I’m okay with it.  I am making ramen noodles with Kat’s magic mineral broth and they just kinda slide down without swallowing and eggnog and Ensure go down pretty good too.  I’m sure that the ideas will come but for now it is just enough to count some calories and get it down.  I am pretty tired so I am going to cut it short and head to bed.  But rest assured I am still in the game and doing fine.  God woke me up this morning, showed me a beautiful day, gave me the courage to get by, gave me friends to share it with and a loving wife to hug. I took some action and scheduled an extra bag of electrolytes for tomorrow morning between radiation treatments and with some sleep tonight I will be back at it tomorrow. Good night.
